GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. General

These general terms and conditions (hereinafter: general terms) govern the rights and obligations between the service provider and the users of the services of the Cubana Ljubljana dance school (hereinafter: the provider), relating to:

• dance courses,
• workshops and special events,
• festivals,
• gift vouchers,
• online payments and registrations. The general terms apply to all users who register for the provider's services or make a purchase via the website or other sales channels. By submitting a registration or completing a payment, the user confirms that they are acquainted with the general terms and accept them in full.

3. Services

The provider offers:

• regular dance courses
• courses of various difficulty levels,
• workshops and intensive courses,
• social dance events,
• festivals (e.g. multi-day events),
• the sale of gift vouchers.

Details of each service (dates, duration, price, location) are published on the website or provided at the time of registration.

4. Registration and Conclusion of Contract

The contract between the provider and the user is concluded at the moment when: the user submits a registration for a course or event and the payment has been successfully completed or confirmed.

The provider reserves the right to reject a registration in the event of a limited number of places or failure to meet the requirements for a particular course level.

5. Prices and Payments 5.1 Prices All prices are expressed in euros (EUR) and include VAT, unless expressly stated otherwise. Prices are valid on the day of purchase or registration and may vary depending on:

• the duration of the course,
• the type of event,
• the date of purchase (e.g. pre-sale),
• special promotions.

6. Cancellations, Refunds and Changes

6.1 Regular Dance Courses Course fees are non-refundable, except in the case of beginner courses, where after attending the first session the participant may request a partial refund (monthly fee minus one session according to the price list). Otherwise, non-attendance at an individual session does not entitle the user to a refund or price reduction.

6.2 Workshops, Events and Festivals Refunds are not possible. In the event of a cancellation of an event by the provider, the purchase price is refunded or an alternative date is offered.

6.3 Cancellation by the Provider The provider reserves the right to change dates, location, or to cancel an event due to force majeure or an insufficient number of registrations.

7. Gift Vouchers

A gift voucher is transferable, unless expressly stated otherwise. The voucher is valid for one year from the date of purchase. After the expiry of validity, the voucher cannot be redeemed. The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash. The maximum value of the voucher corresponds to the highest price of the course package that can be purchased with the voucher. The provider is not liable in the event of loss or theft of the voucher.

8. Liability and Safety

Users participate in activities at their own risk. The provider is not liable for injuries resulting from failure to follow the instructions of the teachers or from improper use of the premises. The provider is not liable for lost or damaged personal belongings.

9. Protection of Personal Data

The provider processes personal data in accordance with applicable legislation (GDPR and ZVOP). Personal data is used exclusively for:

• the provision of services,
• notifications about dates,
• the issuing of invoices,
• legal obligations.

10. Photography and Filming

The participant is aware that the Cubana Ljubljana school occasionally photographs and films activities at courses, dance parties, and other events for the purposes of documenting and promoting the school. The use of recordings in which an individual is clearly identifiable, for promotional purposes, takes place on the basis of the individual's consent, which they give upon registration and may revoke at any time at info@cubana.si. A participant who does not wish to be photographed may communicate this to the photographer or organizer at the event at any time.

11. Copyright

All content (photographs, videos, texts) created within the scope of the provider's activities may be used for promotional purposes, unless the user expressly objects to this.

12. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

The user may send complaints in writing to the provider's email address. The provider will respond to the complaint within a reasonable period. The provider does not recognize any out-of-court consumer dispute resolution body as binding.

13. Final Provisions

The provider reserves the right to amend the general terms. Changes take effect upon publication on the website. The law of the Republic of Slovenia applies to the interpretation and application of these general terms. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent court in Ljubljana.
